If you’ve ever seen Suits, then you’ll know what we mean when we say that Sally is our Donna! Sally sets the bar at Belbridge Hague Law when it comes to attention to detail, organisation and a drive to assist everyone around her. One of the things that makes Sally a unique gem in our world is that she has experience across every area that we practice, having spent various chunks of time assisting in family law, litigation and all types of commercial matters.
When our clients call Sal they are quickly put at ease by her calm phone manner. Sal prides herself on keeping up to date with everything that is happening on files across the firm, which means that she can always provide timely updates to our clients and assure them that we are on the case! If a client needs advice from a solicitor, Sal will be more than happy to take a detailed message so that a solicitor can get back to the client quickly and with the correct information.
There is no better shoulder of support than Sal’s. We love how close-knit our team is and Sal plays a significant part in that. Whether it be morning coffee runs to keep us caffeinated, birthday morning teas, mentoring newer staff or making sure she takes on enough work to prevent everyone else from drowning – she’s got our backs! Sal is also a wonderfully fast learner and has an eagerness for learning which means she is always up to the task at hand.
Sal’s home is her castle! When she isn’t making everyone else’s lives easier at BH, you can find her spending time in her beautiful backyard with her husband and son, dogs and chooks. You’ll never see Sal shying away from legal tasks, but don’t use the word ‘moist’ in her presence or suggest that she eat any liquids like soup! (gross)
Timo, Cody and I watch as many Christmas movies as we can fit in every December. We play Giant Jenga with Timo’s family every Christmas; whoever’s there on the day is on the sheet, and the winner gets their name engraved on a trophy with a long-running tally. It’s awesome. Last one is Timo, Cody and I do ‘Triple F’, which is Family, Film, Friday AKA Friday night movie night.
Family, friends, chocolate, coffee, cheese, chooks. Oh you said one..
Hanging out in the backyard with our chooks and dogs and sitting around the firepit with a drink and something good to eat is pretty hard to beat. But also heading up to our family farm in Bullioh is always great. We are so lucky living where we live, we love going on day trips to places like Milawa, Bright and Beechworth checking out all the good food and things on offer.
Has to be Piccolo Pod, large cap, 1 sugar, extra hot.
All of the chocolate. And house floor plans.
